Today, we introduce you to the High Point chapter’s longest serving member, Jordan Green.
Jordan serves as a N.C. Special Prosecutor – Criminal Law. He also serves on the Board for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Guilford County. Jordan is a 3rd generation High Point Jaycee and impressively all 3 generations have served as the President of the Chapter, including Jordan. Thank you to you and your family for your service!
Jordan currently serves on the Board of Directors and has held numerous leadership roles within the High Point Jaycees over his 10 years of experience since joining back in 2009! Jordan states that he chose to join the Jaycees because “I am from High Point and grew up seeing the need for and impact of leadership development and charitable work in our community. I see the Jaycees as both giving a man a fish and teaching a man to fish. Why can’t we do both?”
Did you know?
- Jordan’s favorite quote is “Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can.” –Arthur Ashe
- In his leisure time, you can find Jordan enjoying golf or a trip to the beach.
- Jordan describes doing the best work of life as “Fulfilling.” Ben Franklin said, “When the well is dry, we know the worth of the water.” I see charitable work as a way to refill my well and help others. I’ve never felt better than when I was hot, sweaty, and tired after a long day of serving others.”
We will be sad to see Jordan age out soon but will keep him as a close advisor if he allows!
